Bleach may turn some of your whites, that are now pink ..Yellow. Some Synthetics cannot be bleached. It is also very hard on material and can cause it to weaken and rip. It is better to use the Rit Dye Color Remover. It is available at most Grocery and Drug stores as well as WalMart and other big Stores. Good Luck..Having had 4 sons that went to college..I have had my fair share of pink underwear and socks. Good Luck!

If the thought of using bleach makes you cringe (the smell, the way it destroys your clothes, the toxicity to the planet) try buying borax at the grocery store (should be in with all the other laundry stuff). Don't let the clothes get dry, as this will help set the stain. Follow the instructions for the borax.

It kills ants, too, and you can make those fun soapy crystal water sculptures like when you were in kindergarten.

Do NOT "soak it in normal household bleach overnight," unless you want holes in the stuff too.

Run it through a few hot water wash cycles with a good amount of detergent; try adding a small amount of bleach, or 'Oxi Clean.'

If it's still pink, the suggestion of 'Rit' dye remover is an excellent one. Works for 'dingy' non-white whites, too.

If you put them in the dried them good luck. Bleach like everybody else has said works. You can get real lye soap and let them soak for a day, they'll come out whiter than they were when you bought them. SA8 Prewash is the best stain remover there is.

Try putting it through the wash again but with a cap full of bleach in with it. Worked on my Tai Kwondo stuff

Use RIT color remover. I just saw some yesterday at JoAnn's Fabric store but they probably sell it in your local Target or Walmart or whatever you have. I did that in college once. All of my white socks were a very light shade of PINK!
