Check the selector lever to be certain it's switched to attachment position and not the floor position. Next, check to see if the flapper in the waste water tank is laying flat and not stuck in the up or closed position. This is the outside tank. Not the inner bladder which should be filled with hot water. Be sure to rinse the dirt and grit out of the waste tank after emptying it and before refilling the inner bladder. After that make sure the soap tank, which is in the rear of the machine, is full. Now, if all of this is OK, are you using extractor soap? This is a low foaming soap and may look like straight water but it's not. Regular carpet shampoo is too foamy and may plug things up or make things stick. If foamy use the rinse setting to finish up the job. One last thing, check which position the cleaning level selector is in. Heavy soil, Normal, Light, or Rinse. Also, which attachment are you trying to use? Try the crevis tool and that will tell you whether you have water flow or not. It has no brush or moving parts to hide problems. Just a straight tube on top of the crevis tools. On mine the turbo brush was pressed together too tightly from the factory and I had to take it apart, lube the bushings, shafts and gear drive, then reassemble taking special care not to press the housings to tightly together, binding the gears and the shafts together. Mine worked fine after I did the same to it. Good luck!
P.S. I love mine! Best cleaning job I've ever done on my carpets!

Give it a good cleaning and look for clogs and a possible o ring problem. Lime scale Can build up in the orifice coming from the tank and the little holes in the sprayer it's self.

Sit, have a coffee, and relax. Yes, there should be a container that collects the dirty water. It may be there but not in the right place, i.e. not seated properly.

probably the solution pump is clogged or not working. It is probably inside or below the cleaning solution tank.
