I have a black and white pair of slip-on vans (they are canvas) and they are very dirty with a red pollen type dust and some dirt and stuff and I would just like to know how to clean them, every website that I go to says lemon juice, but I don't want to mess up the black part of the shoes and I don't think that just soapy water will do the trick. Thanks in advance.

It sounds like the shoes are already messed up with the red pollen so you have nothing to lose by sticking them into the washer on a cold water cycle to prevent the bleeding of colors.

Save up 50 bucks and go buy another pair. Simple as that.
