water is not draining and is getting all over the floor. there is also a hissing sound as soon as I turn off the unit? I checked the drain spout and that isn't clogged.

i have a mobile home that has a large portion of floor rotting out around the back door and laundry room. the previous tenants let the washing machine overflow many times. the floor began to rot. it is or feels like particle board soft and mushy and you can feel the 2 by 4's under it. i want to replace it with treated 3/4 plywood. i need to know how to make it nice and seamless as possible and how to make it airtight.

hey ... i am repainting my bedroom and the problem is ...... i am choosing a shade of creamish white for the ceiling .... and on the walls i want to use Orange color and along with that another color in combination. but i am not sure how to go about it. there are 4 walls which need to be painted. should i use same color of orange on all walls. or should i use two shades of orange ... so i can use different shades on consecutive walls i.e. walls facing each other would have same shade of orange. or should it be like having 3 walls painted orange and the fourth one painted with the same color as color of the ceiling. or would any other lighter shades go with the dark orange color ... please help and tell me the colors of all four walls ... not just 2 walls bcos every site shows 2 walls ... thanx in advance

You don't really believe that 12 rolls = 24 rolls, do you? Well, I was at the grocer today, and considered buying double rolls of tp. I had a bright idea. I picked up a package of regular tp rolls. They should be about the same weight, right, considering that they are supposedly equal? They're not. The weight differs dramatically. I didn't take them to the produce section to see what the difference was, but it makes me wonder. I know there are 12 more little cardboard rolls in the center, but the weight difference was too dramatic. Check it out yourself.

I have a cactus in my yard being attacked by an insect and the insect sprays that I have used don't kill the insect and then leave marks on the cactus. The cactus have been where they are for more than 5 years and only recently did this bug appear. The insect attacks the newer growth and leaves white globs that when touched turn a deep red. I saw a documentary once that said this red stuff was collected to make a red dye. The actual name of the cactus is unknown to me. In my area they take young leaves and make "nopales" sp? after scraping the needles off. It is also produces a redish "pear" thing that blooms now and then. I have already chopped off affect section in one attempt to get rid of it and it returned. At first glimpse it looks like a white fly infestation. It is making the cactus look terrible and sickly. Is there a home remedy that would work? I was surprised when I used "home defense" insecticide and it failed.

I just had a home that I have an offer on inspected today. I live in WI. He pointed out that the home does not have house wrap beneath the vinyl siding. He makes no opinion about this, but I am unsure as to whether or not I should buy the house. He said I could caulk around the windows and doors to seal out moisture? But I am wondering if I should not buy the house?
