Use one of the oxygen products, like Oxyclean. Put 4-6 scoops in the washer with your regular laundry soap. Fill with water, then stop the washing cycle, and let your pants soak for at least a few hours (overnight works best), then turn the washer on, and run it as normal. Since you use a laundromat, you can do the same in a sink, or bowl, or bucket, and then handwash the pants, and hang them to dry, after they've soaked in the oxy water for several hours.
My son came home with a pocket full of black ink from an exploded pen, and he didn't tell me. It really looked like it had ruined an entire load of laundry (including white socks), but I did what I said, above, and 95% of the ink came out of everything. The socks WERE wearable, again.
Good luck!

I hate to say it..but if they went through they dryer with that pen in there you can use them as bum around pants for at home, or a try dying them the same color or darker of the ink...but since they were in the dryer you won't get it out because the heat has set it in already.

The streaks are in all probability everlasting. Wash some thing like a white sheet and put in dryer to ascertain if something comes off. you may attempt bleach on the clothing, whether that's not liable to be very powerful.

*** very important.....according to the Queen of Clean...Hairspray no longer works (it did used to) because hairspray now contains oil...and it just spreads the stain....
1st.. choice.. sponge the ink with rubbing alcohol..letting it soak until spot is removed...(Denatured alcohol may be more effective but should be tested first..could damage fabric..
2nd choice...white...non gel toothpaste rubbed vigorously into stain...after..pretreat and launder as usual...
turpentine or soaking in milk may also help.

Yes.. I have three ideas.
a) Dye the pants totally black
b) wear them as work pants around the house in their mottled condition;
c) Throw them away
