I'm not sure where you live, but a great website to go to is: www.fast-growing-trees.com you can select "your state" and they can tell you which trees are best for where you live. Good luck!

Do you want deciduous or evergreen? Do you care how large the tree will eventually get? Usually, fast-growing trees end up pretty large. Leyland cypress are fast-growing evergreens that can get to be about 70 feet tall. Eucalyptus also grow quickly, but some varieties don't get all that large (30 feet or so). Big-leaf maples grow quickly and are deciduous.

Lombardy Popular Tree...........it can be a great privacy wall. Grows 5 feet per year and up to 30 feet tall!! You can order them through the mail and get great deals like 20-30 for $50.00. Check out the tree catalogs, forget their names but I used to get them in the mail. Anyways....... the only bad thing about these trees are their life span is only like 20 years or so. Dont know about you but after 20 years, Im ready for a change anyways!!

Have a look at Paulownia trees. Large leafed, large trusses of flowers, deciduous and fast growing. Might suit your needs depending on your climate. They take down to -6c where I live and up to 40c not worries. If you water plants deeply you get the quickest growth out of most plants.
