how about a combination of the 1st two answers. clean it up with the cat litter, when it is all absorbed, sweep it up, then dump a bunch of baking soda and let it set for a few days..good luck

Go to a hardware store that sells garage floor cleaning materials including that stuff that like cat litter but not. Or go to a mechanics garage and ask them what they use. Gas shouldn't be in a house at all as it's so flammable.

Go to a garden center and get some Lime. Sprinkle liberally. Smell will die soon...almost immediately.
Also can use Lemons!

put some baking soda on it it will dissapear in a few days the smell that is..
