Check in your area for stained glass stores-- which frequently have classes-- and the patrons and teachers do special work.

If the door has glass now then you only need to replace it. I went to a art fare and found a guy that made leaded glass pieces. Had them custom make one to fit my door. Popped out the old, pop in the new. Wasn't expensive. Screw driver was all I needed.
If you have to cut a hole, that's harder. There won't be any removable trim. Just like a kitchen cabinet door.
Unless it's an expensive door, it's cheaper to replace the whole door.
