How do i know what my rv trailer has? Does it have 30 or 50 amp. Manual says trailer has 110 and 12 volt. Want to put meter pole up wire 30 or 50 amp for rv plug? Do not know amp terms well!!

Where the cord is hooked to the RV they usually have a sticker that states the number of amps you need. It should also give the max number amp rating inside the breaker box cover. If it has a main breaker inside the breaker box it will also tell you the number of amps.

the plug on 30 & 50 are different. make a drawing of the plug end of the cord & check with an RV dealer.
