I just planted some mum's in my pot's outside, tempratures are beginning to drop---do I need to cover my mum's at night, to prolong them a little longer or do they hold up well with the cool tempratures??

here's a neat trick for ya.
if they do get frost or even a light freeze

Mums generally hold up quite well to the cool temperature of Autumn. I would not worry too much about that but cover them if you have any doubts.
