I have a 10 Metre deep North facing garden. WIll there be any Winter sunshine given the House is about 9 Metres high

Baby, that depends on the Latitude of your place. If you are about 66N you will get no sun anywhere on 22nd Dec in the Northern hemisphere. Think outside the box

yes because the sun rises and sets east to west, so the sun should be in garden most of the time, if nothing to shade it
