From time to time when I put my hand downwards while walking or standing, I still have that pain in my hand.

Just wonder what does it mean when my hand aches with my hand downwards.

Can someone just give me an explanation for it.

Thanks for any feedback

for a while i have been sleeping flat on the bed without a pillow (i never used to sleep with one). and for that i have credited it to my back and neck pain i have been suffering minorly for a while. on the advice of a friend, i started using a pillow for the first time in ages and when i did, the next morning i was in much more pain than before. is this a good (no pain, no gain) sign that my body is adapting to a much more healthier posture? or is it getting worst? im not physiotherapist here anyway.

I have been dealing with acute plantar fasciitus for 3-4 months now and the ortho doctor is wanting to put me in a cast. However I need one for walking due to I am the sole provider for my family for my husband is recovering from major back surgery. I can not afford to take off work but this pain is getting unbearable. So would a walking cast offer as much relief as a normal cast?

when you don't have access to either one? & have arthritis in your spine and it's been hit double with a dose of Fibromyalgia. Oooooooooooohhhhhh! I hurt! .
I just took a hot shower, heated up a wet hand-towel in plastic bags in the microwave, wrapped that in a dry bathtowel---& think I should just go to bed early. I have a HUGE day tomorrow.
Any ideas other than these? My friend is bringing me over Aleve pretty soon---& I'm taking TWO of them. tonight...and one tomorrow afternoon. I had 400mg of Ibuprofin earlier...with my dinner about 7 hours ago...but it hasn't kicked it at all! The Aleve always helps---I'm just hoping it will tonight too...this is TOO MUCH!
ooooooooooo I want my mommy!

I recently sprained my ankle and was prescribed vicodin for the pain at night (My entire leg cramps from the hip down and I get a constant numbing pain from the discomfort). The trauma also brought back anxiety attacks and I have xanax for that. I hate taking vicadin because it makes me feel loopy in the morning. WIll xanax work to get me to sleep and forget the pain? Will Ambien do the same trick. Or should I just go with the vicadin?

six months ago I had a Sigmoidoscopy procedure, and also had some internal piles (banded). Although the outcome of that procedure was OK. ie. nothing untowards was found. since this procedure, every morning I wake up with back ache and a 'stitch' like pain at the bottom of my stomach at the right-hand side. This pain only eases when I have had a bowel movemement. Before these procedures I did not get this pain.
Could I have picked up some kind of infection from these procedures ?

i recently got a "suboxone" pill from a friend in order to detox from a heroin addiction. he said that he was broke so the doctor gave him a cheaper option than the normal orange, hexagonal 8 mg tablet. the pill is shaped like a rectangular box-like thing that is sweet to the taste and purple in color.
did i get ripped off, or has anyone heard of this type of suboxone?

3 yrs ago I began tingling in arms & fingers. Now have pain in neck shoulders chest arms. 1 yr ago had cervical xray revealed xtra rib at C7 (left and right). DX was thoracic outlet syndrome. Then had EMG done and Phys Therapy. I continue most PT exercise but pain continues to worsen. Recently had MRI which shows bulging disc at C3-4, C5-6, T5-7 linear structures posterior to cord represent prominent vascular structures. Family Doc wanted more PT but scheduled me to see neurosurgeon next week. What should I expect? More PT? Surgery? Pain Meds? The pain on scale 1-10 on a good day is 3-4 on a bad day 8-10. The constant tingling wakes me up in the night and the pain in neck and shoulder hinders me in what I can lift, and even what I can do since it is painful to keep my arms any higher than my waist/chest and very painful above my head. The EMG was negative for nerve damage and carpal tunnel. MRI shows no compression of cord.

I've been sick for about 5 days now. It started with just dizziness and nausea, then came the fever, it got up to 102.1 and it still hasn't gone away, my fever has been at about 100-101 for 5 days now. I got a sore throat shortly after the fever, so I visited my doctor, my doctor gave me a strep test and that came up negative, and she just said it was a viral infection. But recently I realized what was causing my sore throat, I have red blisters on the back of my throat, they are very painful, it feels like im swallowing a dagger whenever I swallow. Should I go to see my doctor again? Any tips for how to help with the pain? I've tried throat drops, advil hardly relieves the pain at all, and drinking doesn't seem to be doing anyhting either. Any tips???

I am 53 years old.Had bad walking style since childhood. A road accident at age of 38 made the spine weaker. MRI and HLA B27 tests are validating diagnosis and also indicating bamboo spine related issues. Body stiffness and inability to stand straight has had big impact on me.
Trying my best to keep myself busy and with a positive outlook .
Plenty of support from family and people with whom I had a good business relationship.
Warm water fermentation and breathing exercises to keep lungs in healthy condition are some of the routine steps taken to avoid further deterioration in health.
Expecting some more knowledge on DO's and DONT's.
