And how do i prevent it?


It's not a pulled muscle or anything like that, its just a strong pain, right after i jog (and i do walk after i finish jogging).

This could be your shoes. Are you drinking enough water.

Definately shin splints. I had them once before so bad I could barely walk. My advice to prevent them is rest and let them heal. Then when you start back stretch really good and don't over do it!!!! That is what I had to do because like I said I could barely walk let alone run. I think that it would be harder for them to heal if you were still running alot. You could also check out this webmd.com for treating and preventing them. Good Luck!!!!

Those are called shin splints. I sit on the floor with my knees beant and heels on the ground and lift my toes down and up to strenghthen the muscles that are spose to help that.
