I'm 20 years old and sometimes I'll have hip pain. sometimes after sitting cross legged, or just having one leg in the cross legged position, i'll experience pain in the leg that was in the cross legged position. this occurs when i try to rotate my leg and bring it to what i think is the default position (legs together, feet facing forward). it hurts right where the leg meets the hip (i'm assuming the socket?). this only lasts for a little while and goes away very rapidly (within minutes). it doesn't really feel like pain, but discomfort.
also sometimes while i'm walking, i'll feel a slight discomfort in the same area. this will go away after a few minutes as well.

Some details that may be useful:

I am 16 years old and recently had a growth spurt.
I play soccer and run regularly.
I've had this kind of pain for months now but it has gotten worse lately.
This pain occurs on both knees.
There is no pain when I actually squat, but once I get up from that position, the pain is strange.
The pain is mostly under my kneecaps and in that surrounding area. I don't know the medical names, sorry.

So I work at Apple Computer Inc. and my job is troubleshooting iPod's and the iTunes Software, this is a very fun job but yet requires being on a computer for 8-10 hours a day. I have noticed that towards the end of the day when i'm getting ready for bed, my left wrist/hand becomes very irritated and sore. It's almost like a jolt of pain going up through my wrist and into my hand? I don't have insurance, but I have mentioned this pain to my direct manager, but she doesn't seem to be taking any action in helping me? Am I showing signs of Carpal Tunnel? If so, who should I talk to about seeing a doctor?

Hello,
I am 17 years old. I have been having headaches every day since the end of September. I have been to the doctors multiple times and I was prescribed different medications. I am currently taking Fioricet, and Citalopram. The Fioricet is to stop severe headaches when they come...but that doesn't really help. As for the Citalopram my doctor thought the headaches might be stress related so this is a slight antidepressant which was supposed to start relieving headaches after a few weeks. I've been taking it for about a month now without any results except a better mood. It's not hereditary because noone else in my family ever had this problem either. Can anyone tell me what could be causing this? Thank You.

I am 22 years old and in good health. Ever since I was about 12 I sometimes get severe pain in my back.

Sometimes I will simply bend over and my lower back will sudddenly be strained. Other times I have major muscles spasms in my back and all of the muscles in my upper back, shoulders and neck area will be so tight that I cant even turn my head or lift my arm for over a week!

I have been to doctors and even the hospital about this problem in the past and the only thing they ever do is give my pain killers and muscle relaxers which just mask the pain and make me drowsy.

Are there any alternate treatments? Accupuncture? Specific Massage? Anything that might help me!

I am having a lot of sciatica pain. Without going into detail I had surgery for a disc problem 6 years ago. I don't want to go that route again. It's very costly and really I think made me have more problems now than if I went another way.

I am starting a new job in a week and will be sitting down a lot. I need to control the sciatica pain. What would you do first? I am planning on seeing a doctor but seriously can't afford going through physical therapy and the whole nine yards right now.

The deep pain lasts about 20 min. and seems to stem from somewhere just below my sholder. I have no chest pains nor heart problems.
I do get a reaction from Iodine but Iof course I have not intentionally taken any in my food or vitimens. My blood pressure is usually fine but this week it is 147.
I am 64 and otherwise healthy
Any ideas would be welcome.
