Hi,
Go take a look at: www.goodbyetobackpain.org
All sorts of things can cause us back pain and can be difficult to pinpoint. Very often it is posture related and is triggered by how we stand, walk, sit and sleep.
It can also be stress related, particularly a buring sensation towards the top or bottom of the back.
Go to: www.defeatstress.org
The key thing is is that you don't ignore the pain hoping it will go away. Nor should you keep taking pain killers either as these are not good for you.
If in doubt go and see your Doctor.
Hope this helps
Julie

Back pain can be cured in just 15 days to three months of doing meditation for an hour in the morning and evening under the guidance of an experienced spiritual teacher.

You want to prevent back pain - right.
Always Sit in a posture such that your vertabral column must be in 90°. Don'ts - sleeping and watching tv, reading books with insufficient light, curl in your pushback chairs.
Don't continuously sit infront of your computer, every 30 minutes move out of it and restrain your eyes.(there is a link between ur eyes and back pain).

Good posture is the key and stretching will stimulate your muscles. you need to find out what is causing your back pain so you can correct the situation. it can be something as simple as a callous on your foot that makes you walk slightly differently and in turn causes you to use different muscles in your back to keep your body upright.
Find the problem and you are half way there

immediate relief could be achieved by sleeping on the floor with your tummy facing upright&when you are at work dont step back to walk around &try to have some converstion while walking this helps to keep you walking for more time &also relieves stress .incase the pain is more you can switch to some painkillers bettr not use many painkillers they may lead to some disorders .it is always good to conuslt a doc&askhim to let you know about heat therapy.

Take up old style rock & roll dancing. It cured my bad back and I know of others it has worked for also.
I believe it strengthens the muscles in the back which support the spine.

always lean a little bit to the back when you are seated, fold your legs to the ankles and when you are sleeping don't lie on your tummy
