Have you been to a neurologist for a CT scan or brain MRI? If your headaches are quite persistent, and they seem to be, I have found that cold compression really helps. There are "fake ice cubes" sold in the sporting goods section at Wal-Mart which do the trick nicely. If cold compression does not help, then try stress-relief massage/chiropractic care with a concentration on the shoulder area.
If your problem is not relieved from the above, then try the following: (1) Keeping an activity and food diary to determine what your headache triggers may be; (2) Keep track of what minor things have brought some relief to your headaches -- change of position in bed, cold compress, heat or warm air, deep breathing, etc.; (3) Make note of any loss of sensation, eye/vision problems that occur, auditory sensations, smells, etc. that you experience while you are experiencing a headache. Present all of these to a neurologist to determine the best route. If all else fails, remember that some headaches are triggered by hormonal problems, whether you are male or female, which means that you may need to see an endocrinologist to determine if your hypothalamus and/or thyroid are functioning properly.
Hope this helps.

It sounds as though your headaches may have started when school did. Are you carrying a heavy backpack? Perhaps you have a lot of muscle strain on your neck and shoulders. Are you in a school with new carpets or something with fumes that could be giving you the headaches? Are you eating anything at school that you didn't normally eat? Is there a cold air vent blowing on you in class? I guess I don't have any answers, but questions that might help you pinpoint the problem. Hopefully you've seen a neurologist or had a CAT scan or MRI done.

You should see a Neurologist (if you haven't already). They will probably want an MRI. Keeping a headache diary is also a good idea. There are many things that could be causing the headaches from foods, hormones, stress, etc. I take Topamax to prevent my headaches and Zomig to get rid of migraines. Both are very good drugs.

It's not normal to have constant headaches at seventeen years old. Medical doctors are not always the answer because problems like this can be related to the neck and The spine. It would be best if you saw a chiropractor who specializes in relieving headaches. I've provided a link for qualified chiropractors in your area in the USA.
In the meantime I suggest you put Ice on the back of your neck for fifteen minutes at a time several times a day. This may take care of some of the pain you're experiencing. I find Tylenol to be excellent for headaches. I really feel you need a chiropractor.
if you have any further questions please let me know,

Could be a few different things. Certain perfumes, like in laundry detergent can cause headaches. Allergies, foods, dust..... also wearing tight/snug fitting clothing can cause headaches too (jeans in particular).... Low blood sugar can cause them. Prescription meds such as birth control, tetracycline (for acne), as well as high doses Of vitamin A. A dental infection could also be the reason for a headache.
If you are slightly anemic, try adding some more iron, and vitamin C to your diet. This might help alleviate the headaches. (my sister was anemic)

Oh, you poor thing! When you have these headaches, go and get a cold cloth and put that on your head. It also might be from alergys, nerves, food alergys, stress, working to hard, problems, some meds. that you might be taking now, or food that you have been eating. I would recamend tilenall, advil, aspren, sleep longer, eat a little more, eat healthy. Oh, it also might be from new things like furnicure, flowers, any type of home appliance.
hope I helped!~! love your friend Amy. bye!

drink more water, alot of doctors overlook dehydration for the cause of headaches. go get acupuncture or a massage. medication won't always fix the problem, alot of times it makes it worse.
