From time to time when I put my hand downwards while walking or standing, I still have that pain in my hand.

Just wonder what does it mean when my hand aches with my hand downwards.

Can someone just give me an explanation for it.

Thanks for any feedback

PS ..I should have mentioned it earlier.
My pain is on the thumb side of the wrist.
It is in fact tendinitis (De Quervain)

What you are feeling is normal with tendinitis. Soaking your hand in hot water with 1c. Epsom salts can help reduce the pain.

The best doctor for this is an orthopedic specialist and you probably should see one as soon as possible.

de quervain's disease, affects the tendons on the thumb side of the wrist. what you are describing appears to be at the shoulder, maybe you have rotator cuff injury or tear.
