see your doctor, may need physical therapy. two things come to mind, carpal tunnel syndrome and reflex sympathetic dystrophy syndrome. your line of work is most likely aggravating condition and may require you wear a wrist splint. good luck

How do you know you cracked the bone?
Did you see a doctor?
Have an X-ray?
Were you told how to encourage it to heal?

If so, why didn't you ask the doctor for some med?

This I know - ice immediately. It's too late for that.
After that, heat. Warm soaks are best. If you have a large pan, fill it with very warm (not hot) water and soak for 10 minutes. Repeat 4 times a day.

You should also be wearing a wrist support until it is healed.
You probably over-used it today or it wouldn't hurt. Try a Tylenol or acetaminophen.

Let's assume that you have had it checked out to make sure the bone is setting correctly and there are no fragments in there. And that you're taking extra calcium/magnesium supplements to help the bone heal.

For the pain, you could try alternating hot and cold compresses. Get one of those bags filled with beans and heat it in the microwave for a minute or 2. Have another one of the bags in the freezer and alternate between them (maybe 10 or 15 minutes each).
Tylenol or aspirin will help with the pain a bit as well.

You might also try one of those topical analgesics like Rub A535 and see if that helps a bit.
You could also try a tension bandage.
