I am taking 2 - 50mgs of this medication and just want to know.

Check your bottle if you have one. Or call your local pharmacy if you're particularly concerned. They will be happy to answer considering this is not a scheduled drug and I doubt you'll sound like a junkie..
and from what I have read, that is a fine amount, assuming you actually need it. I would take one first..

What is it for? The Doctor based your dosage, anyway, on your particular need of it, and the amount was based on your weight also, at the time he prescribed it. Did he say take one, as needed, up to two times a day or ; Take One, two times a day, etc.? If it is irritating to the stomach, or any other type of consideration- that you should ask the doctor and/or Pharmacist about, you'd better make sure they know what your question is and what you are wanting to do, and they'll advise you. We are not the right source. More deaths are caused by taking medicine wrong than for any other cause.
Look at Anna Nicole. She was giving everybody her pills- or getting more through other people, or they were using her to get more, or drugging her to make her manageable and buy more for them- or maybe stocking up to show an excuse why she was murdered(?) I had a friend who landed in the hospital from not writing down how much stuff she was taking and how often. Nobody wanted to tell her what she had done, and she wanted to understand what made her sick!
People, especially men, will come across a man in pain emotionally or physically, and they will pop a pill in their mouth from some fierce begging on their friend's part, or shoot them up with something, then just let them die because they don't call anyone or monitor them; mostly because of fear because there is wrong-doing, somebody has a warrant or illegal drugs are in the house, so they let the person die!!??? By leaving. and/or not calling for help. What does that say for the long-term solution and immature decision making abilities of these friends? Don't risk these type of contacts in you life. Clean up or else someone might accidentally kill you from their selfish stupidity, and you surrounding yourself with low-life. Mostly it's lovers who kill you this way.

Follow the dosage recommendation on the bottle. I take Voltaren also at 75 mg. twice daily, morning and night.
