I'm 20 years old, and ever since I was a young teenager, I've been having periods of sharp pain in my chest. When I have these pains, it only hurts when I'm inhaling. The deeper breath I take, the more this stabbing feeling in my chest digs. It usually only lasts around 30 seconds or so. I get them two or three times a day when I have them, but I'll go a month or so without having them. It's like the "spell" lasts for a few days, and then goes away. My mother blew it off as "growing pains" when I was younger, but now that I'm older it really concerns me. I'm overall a healthy individual. Sitting does not help, nor does drinking water. I just have to stand aside and take tiny, short breaths and wait until the pain goes away. Is there something wrong, or is that totally normal?

It hurts in the joints of my left shoulder all the time.

I have small children and often pick them up so was wondering if that could be one of the factors.

When I lift my arm over my head sometimes it "pops" when I bring it back down and that is when it REALLY hurts. I have to take advil and tylenol a lot for it and it has been waking me up at night.

I plan on going to the doc but was wondering what it might be.

Always in movies and real life, when people get shot they scream in agony and curse and everthing, but they never cry. Are tears only let lose when the brain thinks they will do good, or is it just plain coincidence? Is getting shot beyond the pain which the brain is expected to flow tears?

I had surgery yesterday and I tried to take two Tylenol an hour ago for the pain. My doctor gave me hydrocodone for it, but I thought I would try the Tylenol. It is not working. Can I take the Hydrocodone even though I took two Tylenol an hour ago?

Tomorrow I will be taking a trip with a group from school for a project. I'm packing some medicines just in case I need them. (mild pain killers, pepto, acid reducer, allergy medicine) However I have some really bad problems with my knees popping out which ends up with me limping or on the floor. I have two left over meds from previous doctor visits about this problem, darvocet and lodine. Which would cause the least drowsiness, dizziness, and nausea? Serious answers please.

The doctors have ran countless tests and can't find a reason for the pains. The pains in my legs are constant and unbearable. Have you experienced this ? If you have, what was the reason ? Thank you in advance for your help.
