I've been dealing with what I believe to be a migraine for the past few weeks.Never had one before and the pain and symptoms that went along with it were so intense I thought I was having a brain aneurysm/tumor.Luckily nothing showed up on the test results...I'm going to a neurologist in a few days for further testing.I was just wondering if these are signs of a migraine or possibly something else...........non-stop pulsating/throbbing in head, constant head pain(sometimes stays in one spot but can spread throughout head), EXTREME endless vertigo/spacey feeling(like walking through a fog),lethargy, visual distortions/double vision, sensitivity to light and a little to sound,short-term memory loss(which has been scaring the hell out of me), speech disturbance/slurring,loss of appetite, and just an overall high level of discomfort throughout each day which is inhibiting me to work or drive. Can anyone else relate to these symptoms? Has anything helped you gain relief in any way?

I wanted to buy an electric Paraffin wax bath machine to use for the arthritis in my hand, and I went to Walmart because I had seen them there before Christmas, but they had no more. Can I use an ordinary pot, on the stove, to melt the wax, or will it ruin the pot?

My husband is complaining of pain in his ankle and the top of his foot. We think it started as a result of his previous job, which kept him on his feet for 8 hours a day. He stopped working and the pain remained, although lessened, for several months. Now he's working again and the pain is back full force. What could the problem be and can anything be done for him without seeing a doctor?

I am recently having a pain in my knee during walks with my dog.

About a month ago, I was hit by a car, though I did not suffer from any injuries, it was my left knee that was the strongest hit, and I experience strong discomfort during walks in the cold. My dog has recently (I believe) coming into heat, so she wants longer and more regular walks, and I wish to run with her, but my knee stiffens and it hurts. Is there any way to null the pain while not using any pain killers? Thank you!

Sometimes when I wake up from sleeping, recline on a chair like at the dentist, or stand for a long period of time, my arm(more sensitive on the upper arm) begins tingling and numbing in a painful manner. Any ideas on what this condition this might be?

i had to walk 10+ miles to get home the other day, & no surprise my feet (and legs) didn't feel so good afterwards. thing is, later that day the inside of my ankle/foot above the arch was bruised looking & VERY swollen, warm, and painful. i also got a bruise on the outer top of my foot. it's still like this. i can barely walk, standing is uncomfortable, and the only thing that doesn't hurt it is if i keep it totally still w/nothing touching it. it feels like there's a bunch of nails jambed in my foot. what could be wrong? what can i do to make it feel better?

I suffer from acute Migraines and my insurance does not cover it. It comes to over $600 for a month supply. I simply cannot afford that but my migraines are so bad that i can't even get up sometimes. Does anyone know of a over-the-counter equivalent?

I just don't want to keep taking Tylenol.

-Please help-

The prescription given to me by my doctor is: Rizatriptan Benzoate

Looking for what Over-The-Counter (OTC) headache medicine you take and how long does it take for you to get results? Please just address the occasional headache, not migraines.
