Unspecific pelvic pain is a hard thing to diagnose.
You could be ovulating. Some women report cramps on one side or the other (depending on which ovary is releasing the egg that month) usually a week or two after their period.
You might have pulled a muscle a few days ago and it is just now starting to complain.
Try a heating pad or hot water bottle on the area and see if that relaxes the cramps. A slow, stretchy yoga routine (see Goddess pose) often relieves cramps too. Drink the recommended amt of water each day - that can help relieve cramps also a little.
Hope you feel better soon

You should go to the doctor. You could have appendicitis, and you will have to get your appendix removed. Your appendix is on your lower side.

I'm thinking it's your appendix, but I have Kidney Stones and your description sounds similar. I'd just go get it checked out at soon as possible.
