I have mixed my ibuprofen with all sorts of drugs, even drugs harder then Tylenol with codeine.
Just remember that ibuprofen is very hard on the stomach and you may want to put something in your stomach before or after taking it. Depends on your body.

Of course I am not a doctor and I am not sure if a qualified doctor is going to be hanging out here in answers (one would think the doctor is busy, and his nurse or whatever is there too lol!) and everyone's body is different. But as I said I have without any bad side effects.

Yes, the medications are safe to take together provided you are doing so under a doctor's orders. Ibuprophen is an anti-inflammatory that is processed through the kidneys. Tylenol with codeine is processed through the liver, Codeine is a narcotic and should be used with caution. Tylenol should taken in doses not to exceed 4000mg in a 24 hour period. Some recent studies have suggested that even that level can be harmful.

Ibuprofen is an ASA based product, and Tylenol is acetaminophen base so you could take them together, the Ibuprofen would be more for anti-inflammatory, and Tylenol for fever and pain. So no problem just don't over do it.

Yup, i get these two prescribed for chronic pain and headaches all the time! You just have to be careful not to take the t3's too often cuz then you'll get ill. Those are addicting.....take as needed along with the ibupro!

I do it all the time when I have a stubborn headache that won't respond to just ibuprofin. My doctor knows and didn't seem to care. Probably as long as you're not overdosing on either it would be ok.

ummm, most likely not...if you're in that much pain, maybe u should go the doctors and get a prescription for...sure it may cost a bit more, but it'll be safer/smarter.
