Ive been taking 6 to 12 lortab 5's a day for about a year now, and I've decided to stop takeing these Lortabs cold turkey. I am haveing major withdrawls, and i was wondering if xanax would help my withdrawl symptoms?

yes it can help but you can also become dependent on these as well. Withdrawal from benzodiazepines is much worse than detoxing from narcotics. It can induce seizures and can be fatal.

If you are going to use them, it would be wise to use them sparingly and for a very limited time.

It would be wise to speak with an addiction specialist as there are other medications and methods to help with the withdrawals

this is a generic xanax and it does the same as a true xanax
