i ate dinner *i didn't over eat at all. but my stomach just started hurting like i was being stabbed, and it hurts to stand up strait.......

My first guess is that you have gas or really bad indigestion. Have you tried an antacid? You don't say if the food was spicy but it could be an ulcer, or a hiatal hernia or just heartburn. If it persists see your doctor. Pepto or Tums might help. Baking soda with water if you don't have anything else. Good luck.

don´t let this pain without attention, could be as simple as indigestion or as bad as hepatic, pancreas and gall (stones) problems you should go to the doctor if the pain increase after meals or you can´t stand up strait.

If you are having pain in the upper right quadrant, you could be experiencing symptoms of gall stones. Gall stones are aggravated by eating spicy foods.

You may have gallstones or appendicitis. You really should take a trip to the ER if you pain doesn't go away soon.

i would think it was what all the other people are saying. it could be gas, indigestion or gallstones or something. i woud seriously go to the doctor.
