I'm having surgury on both of my feet in late Jan. or early Feb. I'll be in a cast for a really long time. For the first 6 weeks I can't put my foot on the ground but for the next weeks I'll be in a walking cast. We have a 3 story house and my room is on the top floor along with the other rooms this is bad because I don't know how to go up stairs in a cast. Any ideas on how I could make the recovery eaiser? Please no stupid answers or people saying not to have the surgury my feet really hurt me and I could have so many other worse problems in the future if I don't do this.

Im 15 and for the past 2 or 3 years i have had chest pains.. at first it was all the time then less.. like once every few months.. it happened last night after 8 months of not happening. It feels like a stabbing feeling mixed with pulling.. and i asked my doctor and they said it was probably just from not wearing a bra but i think its from something else.

I woke up this morning in EXTREME PAIN. My left shoulder is killing me. It's where the shoulder blade is and sometimes shoots into my neck. No I am not having chest pains or breathing problems. I talked to a friend and he said that it was more than likely a pinched nerve.

I DO NOT HAVE INSURANCE!!!! NO MONEY!!!!!!

I have searched the internet and all the symptoms point towards pinched nerve. I woke up this morning, and got in the shower and let the massage head of my shower head pound on my back for a good 30 minutes. This did not help with the pain at all. It's finally stopped hurting for a few minutes, but the dull ache is still there.

Thanks for your answers!

The thing is that it only hurts when i shake my head. I wouldnt call it a headache, just a pain in the back of my head when i shake my head. Everyone keeps telling me to just stop shaking my head but im just scared of whats causing the pain. After a while it sometimes turns into a headache. i cant help but think of the possibility of a brain tumor. I had this before but never thought much of it and it would go away. I also know some other people who say they had the same thing. Anybody have any suggestions on what it may be? or if its even anything to worry about???

My husband used to be a very robust, intelligent man. While he is still extremely intelligent, he is almost bedridden, has an unbelieveable amount of excessive sweating from head to toe, entire body itches, has rashes that have broken out over head, face and down back of neck. He is unable to walk more than 20 ft or less before being unable to continue and must sit down in a wheelchair. He had chronic aches and pains accompanied by muscle cramps throughout his upper and lower extremities. When excessively tired, is unable to speak and has difficulty knowing what to do such as sitting down. I have had to pat on the bed and tell him several times he needs to sit down before it registers. The doctor says it is a problem with the autonomic nervous system not sending complete communication messages from the brain, to the heart, and to other muscles. We are hoping to get him on IVIG thereapy soon. Would love to hear from others that may have this disorder. We live on prayers and faith

Yesterday I was running into the living room and hit the side of my hand on my brother's guitar. Right after I hit it my whole hand went numb and then it started burning. I thought that was odd since all I did was hit the side of my hand, not my whole hand. So for the rest of the night I was unable to move my fingers without pain, and the burning never stopped. Now today my whole hand and wrist ache, and my fingers are all sore, especially my middle finger.

Did I seriously hurt my hand? I know it's not broken or anything because my brother just broke his wrist, and I don't have the same pain. but I would like to know what I did to my wrist so I can know whether or not to avoid using it as much, or to let it rest.

I had stomach pain in my lower right side eight days ago. I ignored it, but it hasn't gone away yet. Now it's not only my right side but I also feel some pain higher and some on my left side. The pain gets worse after I eat, though it's not as bad as I'm eating. Does anyone know what this possibly could be? I don't really want to have to go to the doctor unless it's absolutely necessary. Thanks

I've been having intense, throbbing pain in my head for about 3 weeks now (I can actually hear the pulsating noise in my head and it doesnt EVER stop). I got tests done to rule out a brain aneurysm/tumor...tests came back fine. Doctor diagnosed migraines last week and have been on narcotics/other meds since, which help a little...mostly knock me out.I can't seem to figure out how these developed and what I'm supposed to do.The only thing I think it may be caused by is I just started going to a chiropractor and the pain started shortly after. I didn't realise it at first, but after a few times of having my neck cracked my migraines kicked in full force. Can a chiropractor cause this? I'm also going to neurologist next week to get checked out. If anyone has dealt with this or has any advise as to what could help,I would really appreciate it.

I have chronic migraines, and my doctor says the medication he prescribes can be "my choice." I've never been on any of them ... Please, this is a serious question, so no jokes.
