try an anti-inflamitory, any pain that lasts more than 3 days needs a doctors visit in general, good rule to go by

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information

I get that too, but I have been checked out. It is probably a weird muscular thing, but you should get it checked. I have gotten a swelling on my head, a bump that lasts a day or so.

Since we are not there to look at your bump, or to see actually where the head aches at, it is best to go to a doctor and let him check it out.

Try drinking some water and putting a cold compress on your forhead.

If it gets worse or does not go away then you should go to the er and be checked.

Be carefull

it's not safe to assume anything. you would be best to see a doctor to rule out anything serious such as an anuyrism to even ischemia to the brain. be safe, if you are really in a LOT of pain go get it checked out.

You should call the hospital and talk to a nurse and ask them if they think you should go to the ER. Good luck
