Im 15 and for the past 2 or 3 years i have had chest pains.. at first it was all the time then less.. like once every few months.. it happened last night after 8 months of not happening. It feels like a stabbing feeling mixed with pulling.. and i asked my doctor and they said it was probably just from not wearing a bra but i think its from something else.

believe it or not stress causes these pains in the chest. it doesn't happen often but when it does it hurts!! the stress causes your muscles to go tight and it causes the pulling feeling and of course the pain. sometimes it throbs other times its sharp. just do more things to relax yourself, learn to meditate, think of a place in your mind that is comforting to you put on a nature cd or soothing music and focus yourself in that place with your eyes closed and just concentrate on the music or sounds for about 15 to 30 minutes depending on how stressed you are. also you can go to this place in your mind anywhere you are if you need a break. GOOD LUCK!!

Without a more detailed description and asing u questions then no one can tell you.

But my besty guess given your age and how they come and go and that it's been there for 2-3 years it sounds most like self limiting costochondritis. This really menas that the pain is coming form inflamation of the joints between your ribs. This kind of pain is usually in a specific point and worse when you breathe in.

The best thing is that your GP has checked it out and not suspected anything serious. Doctors are trained to sort out the serious from the not serious, that is what they are best at.

Though if youa re not wearing a bra then get one and wear it NOW, you will really regret it when you have saggy boobs in as little as five years time. (ignore me if you want tho, just my own two penny's worth lol)

I used to have chest pains, and my aunt (who's a doctor) helped me with mine. She said to cough every time you had one.

See if that helps. If it does, then your breathing differently, causing the pain. Coughing, get's it all straight in there and you'll be fine.

(I used to call it my heart stopping, because it hurt, and it was right there on my heart) and I'd just caugh and it'd be well again.
