Gargling with warm salty water several times a day might be of some help. You could also try clove oil as well as an OTC Lidocaine, Benzocaine product such as "Oragel" and NSAIDS such as Iibuprofen to also help with swelling and pain.

It would also be wise to make an appointment with a Dental Clinic to have your teeth evaluated. An abcessed tooth can be quite serious if not addressed

Soluble aspirin was the only thing that worked for me when I suffered with my Wisdom Teeth. I had to take it during the night as well as through the day. Might manage you until you can get to the dentist. Hope it gets better soon.

This sounds crazy but it worked for me .First take some pain killers .Put some Worcester sauce on cotton wool and apply to the tooth. My Canadian brother-in-law came up with that one but it does seem to work.We used to bite on whiskey soaked cotton wool as kids. These help keep it at bay until the pain killers work.
