A pinched nerve is usually the result of an injury, and is actually a "pinched nerve", Tendonitis is an inflamation of the tendons, usually caused by repetitive over use...Tennis elbow for example. Arthritis (osteo) is the wearing down or the crystalization of the cartlidge between the joints. It is generally a wear and tear condition that comes with age. Carpel tunnel syndrome again is usually caused by repetitive over use of the wrists. There are 20 or so small bones in the wrist system which along with the associated ligaments become sore and painful when over used in a repetitive way, such as using a computer keyboard all day, every day. Ouch.

A pinched nerve in the cervical spine can be debilitating, and felt in the arm, hand, fingers. It's a special feeling. Tendinitis is somewhat different, in that the tendons are infected and take a rather long time to heal. Carpal Tunnel can be corrected by stopping the movement that is always made, the same way. Typing this for example requires certain movements, all the time, at the same time.
Arthritis, my old friend, I have osteoarthritis in the severe degenerative stages. It's a feeling that only another victim with the same affliction, can tell you. It's misery to the fullest extent. It's sleepless nights, it's floor pacing while crying, it's asking God sometimes, yes begging, to die. It can be that bad. I take no less then six different drugs for it and my life is surrounded by it. "It" lives within me, and I cry to get out.

Imagine for a moment your arthritis completely vanishing right now.

If, in a moment, your pain and stiffness melted away. And your joints all of a sudden functioned like a well-oiled machine.

Like a magic wand was waived, you'd be able to jump up from your chair and run around the room like a kid.

And imagine that you'd never have to suffer as much as a pinch of arthritis stiffness or pain ever again.

I know this sounds impossible right now, but bear with me, because sometimes miracles happen.

It was a gift from a woman on the other side of the world. From the kindness of her heart, she took pity on my suffering and taught me how to completely reverse my arthritis.

Today, I want to do the same for you!

You can apply heat to the area and massage it as well. If that doesn't work and you have alrady tried ibuprofen and advil, then perhaps you take him to a chiropractor. A chiropractor can adjust the spine and can help loosen things up. If he has other symptoms like burning and tingling in his arms then it is time for a doctor, more specifically a neurologist.
