I am recently having a pain in my knee during walks with my dog.

About a month ago, I was hit by a car, though I did not suffer from any injuries, it was my left knee that was the strongest hit, and I experience strong discomfort during walks in the cold. My dog has recently (I believe) coming into heat, so she wants longer and more regular walks, and I wish to run with her, but my knee stiffens and it hurts. Is there any way to null the pain while not using any pain killers? Thank you!

Icy hot cream really helps. You may really need to baby your knee as it may just be bruised. However, you may need to see a doctor if it does not get any better or worsens as you may have torn a ligament or fractured a bone. You can always use warm moist heat and stay off of your leg as much as possible.

I would have this checked out for possible small tear around the knee. Also, before you walks you may could try taking ibuprophen. Reason I mention the small tear, it may not hurt so much until you are putting the stress to it as in walking on the pavement and using it a lot more such as in those walks.
Worth seeing about anyway, Good Luck

try a biofreeze or iceyhot type thing, ice your knee after the walks to minimize swelling and pain. Might wanna get into the doc. just to be sure and check you out. Might wanna see a massage therapist to help out with pain and comfort as well.
