Nothing works for me except aspirin (no idea why).

And powdered aspirin works the fastest and best for me. (Stan-back powders, Goody's, BC).

I'd like to try Head-on though...curious if that actually works.

Goody's works in about 15 minutes and the headache is gone. Same with the other powdered aspirin brands. The all have some caffeine in them, which constricts the blood vessels in your head (which is sometimes a cause).

My drug of choice is Ibuprofen. Many OTC drugs have generic brands, and I find they work just as well.
Be on the lookout for chemical makes of the drugs. Some people may be allergic to acetaminophen--I think Tylenol and Advil contains this.

I take motrin for my headaches - 800 mg. work the best for me. It seems to work within a 1/2 hour. Try brushing your hair or rubbing your head to relieve some tension.

I usually take 2 Tylenol 500 mg Rapid Release Gel Capsules because they are not bad for the lining of the stomach, and they do the job for me.

I believe Advil is best, it takes about 15 minutes to work. I would take two if you are an adult.
