Pain & Pain Management - November 2006

I need to get one today or tommorrow. Can a just walk into a Chiropractors office and expect from them to adjust my neck and back then?

Well it first started a couple days ago. I came to work and that morning my lower back, right under my rib was hurting just a little bit, but as the day progressed, so did the pain. I'm talking excruciating pain by the end of the day. So i went home and took some ibuprofen and wrapped my back up with a heat wrap where the pain was, and thankfully it went away, so I was alright all day yesterday. Well horrible, tear jerking pains started again waking me up at 5 am this morning. With pains so bad that I could barely stand up. Ive noticed today that I have been urinated a lot more than usual, and I feel like I have to go really bad, then hardly anything comes out.. What could this be??

Last week my back started hurting because my Mattress needed turning over and the pain had started to radiate around to my hips. I turned my mattress over on saturday and my back has got better but i still have pain in my hips. My left hip is worst affected and unlike my right hip, the pain doesn't ease through the day. It hurts to lay on my left hip and it hurts when i walk sometimes and when i move my leg in different positions.
I bought a new mattress in the summer because my old one had started to make my back hurt. This mattress i have now is not that firm and i am thinking that the pressure could be making my hip hurt.
I have started to worry about it, because i do not have the funds to buy a new decent mattress and i would just like some advice on how i can get my hips better or how i can stop my mattress from hurting me.

I would so appreciate any advice from people who maybe have had the same problem or anyone who thinks they may be able to help.

Ihad the same problem last winter, or whenever it gets cold, and no-one has come up with an answer yet. When the weather gets colder, my head feels like it is in a vice, especially the back of my head and my teeth ache as well (but there is no problem with my teeth). I also get very dizzy. Is it a sinus problem or what?

did my back in yesterday now I can hardly walk. OK sitting down but agony and doubled over walking or standing. (I'm in work and look ridiculous when I get up)!! Any remedies for lower back pain?

I'm really worried about my little sister, she is only 16 and has a lot to cope with at the moment, she is in the middle of exams and our dad is ill. She seems very depressed, I have tried to talk to her but no 16yr old wants to talk to their 24yr old sister- recently I found a stash of different painkillers in her room including my dads prescription only cediene, my mum says she is always taking paracetamol and ibruprofiene - are there any signs of this sort of addiction and what should / can i do?

For the past few hours, my stomach has been killing me. It's the lowerish right side of my stomach, starting from right next to the bellybutton. When I press it, it hurts and when I move around, it hurts.

I don't need to go use the restroom and I don't feel like throwing up so I don't think it's indigestion. I ate a sandwich 2 hours or so before the pain started. At first the pain wasn't in any spcific area and just felt uncomfortable but now it really hurts in a more localized part of my body.

My stomach hurts extremely bad, and I don’t know what to do about it. Every time I eat I get this crippling stomach ache, I can barely walk let alone breath. Right now I feel like I’m going to throw up, but I’m scared to. I’m already in enough pain, and although it seems like I need to, I don’t want to make it worse. I really don’t know what could be wrong with me. Does anyone know what could be cause such extreme stomach pain? What can I do to relieve it? And should I stop myself from throwing up? Please help!

The Patient is a 28 y/of with severe Back pain after an inhury about 6 years ago, and 3 surgerues and spinal fusion later. Pain Clinic Prescribed Methadone 20Mg daily, after a while pain came back with severe Sweating and intense painn notified dr. and he stated Methadone having No Such side affects of any nature like that. HR in clinic 122BPM and 94/56 But there was nothingwrong with me. How is this possible?

I am 15 and i broke my arm about 2 weeks ago in cheerleading. i broke it in 6 parts and had 4 fractures. i have to wear a full arm plaster cast for 8 months and then a brace on just my forearm for atleast 3. my first question is.. is that normal to have a cast for that long?
and.. any advice to make things easier?
