I'm on moderate to severe pain killers for chronic back pain.
On the packet it says take on to two capsules four times a day. My doc told me if i'm in alot of pain i could take 3 which i did 2-2.5 hours ago but they seem to be not working. Would it be wrong of me to take 4 when the times up to take more. I called my doc to ask but recepitist said he doesnt really take calls. But i would need to ask him so i said can i make an appointment to see him they said sorry his booked out today....could i over dose on them if i just risk taking 4?

My leg was fine all summer until I played basketball for the 1st time this year. I had all kind of test last spring and all they said was a slight pcl tear? It's weird that I can walk almost normal until I sit down for for than 10 minutes, then if I get up I can hardly straighten my leg or walk. It's really not a problem with the knee, it's behind on the back sideof leg behind knee. Any thought????

Back pain - sitting all at the office all day is ironically painful, but quitting is not an option. If I space out 3 Advil throughout the workday, I can tolerate the pain.

I started marching bass drum for about a month now. However I have only actually marched with it about 6 times... I've stood and practiced a lot more, but for the most part it creates a crippling back pain during. In addition to that the harness bruises my hips... is there anything I can do to help aide the pain. I'm not much of a complainer this is the problem, its a pretty bad pain... I wouldn't say I already have back problems but i'm notorious for having back aches fairly easily.... anybody else feel this or... have advice for my back and hips?

I was in a car wreck 2 months ago.I went to an orthopaedic dr. which said my back pain is coming from DDD. Now, I run rescue, very active in my community.Never had a problem with my back before.I looked up everything on DDD.That is something that older people get from ealier injury in life,or something that has happened to over a peirod of time. So,how can this be what is wrong with me? I wasn't having lower back pain before my wreck. So, how can he say that's what is wrong. No, there hasn't been a MRI done.He said he wanted me to go though therophy first, and if that doesn't work then we will have that done. It's severe lower back pain at times.I can't sit to long, stand, walk or anything to long. I had to take medical leave from my resuce squad, and that is killing me.I just don't see how this can be what is wrong with me,if I was fine before! Please help! Do I need a different Dr.?

Ok I have scoliosis and I have to see a chiropractor twice a week. My back hurts very very bad most of the day. I can't walk around and for long periods of time without siiting down. I don't like having to take pain killers all of the times so I stay in pain.
I'm only a teenager and this pain has really effected my life. I can no longer participate in sports anymore because of the never ending pain. A car wreck a year ago damaged my back even more. I exercise 30 minutes every day to stay in good shape. And I eat healthy foods.
Is there any way to help my back, or do I have to live with this?
