The doctor says I have tendonitus in my wrist and told me to wear a brace and take Ibuprofen, but everytime I wear the brace for a while my wrist hurts worse than before I put it on. Do I really have tendonitus. I would like ya'lls opinion.

My Doctor has put me on Imitrex for migranes. I have never been on anything like that before. I would just like to know about the side effects and if it makes you really drowsy because I am at home with 2 kids all day and their dad works all day.

after a series of visits to hospital and various investigations sufferer is told nothing can be done. The problem is sciatica like stabbing pain in one leg below the knee. It is NOT sciatica, much more severe, is more or less continuous. With regular bouts of such strong pain it is difficult to keep balance. Some pain killers have been subscribed and taken, that is Dihydrakodeine and paracetamol (excuse please my poor spelling). These give very little relief. Reluctant to use stronger medication but is desperate to find some way of alleviating the distress the pain is causing. Has anyone else suffered anything similar or know any words of comfort.
P.S. The condition seems to have been aggravated by a fall onto hard surface floor.

A few days ago during lunch I had a sudden pain in my jaw/neck. There was swelling. When I stopped eating it went away. Everytime I eat this happens. Always clears up after I stop. Prett much figured out this was a salivary gland infection. I started taking amoxicilin. Doesn't seem to have helped much. What can I do and is there some kind of relief for the pain while eating meanwhile?

My feet and legs were hurt badly in a car accident five years ago. I have tried orthotic inserts but none have done the trick. I have heard a few good things about New Balance. What about Nike or other brands. Specific styles. Any input?

The doctor has deemed my rotoatr cuff retorn and that he is going to clean it out and cut off so the pain will decrease. He said that motion up to arm level will be okay including strength but the problem and this will be for the rest of my life will limited me into that I will not be able to deliver bread anymore.

I right now have 95 percent flexblity and mobility but of course with activity of any kind the pain comes into play. Has anyone experienced this type of surgery?

Let me say from the start, I am 16 and definitely not a hypochondriac. It seems that over the past two years, my health has been slowly deteriorating, one problem after the next. First, I had achilles tendonitis, which hurt me when I played sports. This has been going on for three years. I have had physical therapy, orthotic inserts, heel lifts, and those don;t help. Second, I had chest pain. i would have to stop whatever I was doing and stand there for 30-45 seconds while thousands of knives stabbed my chest. It occurred randomly .i saw a cardiologist who did an EKG, then said nothing was wrong and sent me on my way. i still get the pain, just less frequently.Used to be everyday, now its twice a month or so. Third, I have memory loss and insomnia, started happening at the same time. My mother won't allow me to take sleeping pills. For the memory loss, Its not dates, but words, people, faces. I stared at a blender for minutes because I forgot what it was called.

A person's foot starts to turn in then their knee becomes very painful and feels as though it wants to give way. If the person bends the knee like when sitting on your leg in a chair, or when on hands and knees in the floor then goes to stand up--the knee doesn't straighten completely without hurting really really bad. What is causing this??? What kind of treatments can this person expect when they go to the doctor??
