What is the best shoe for orthotic support? New Balance?

My feet and legs were hurt badly in a car accident five years ago. I have tried orthotic inserts but none have done the trick. I have heard a few good things about New Balance. What about Nike or other brands. Specific styles. Any input?

not speaking with any knowledge of orthopedics, but i have found new balance to be much better and more comfortable than nike or any other brand, really. sorry to hear about your accident, i've been there as well, but head not legs. good luck.
