If by "stomach" you mean your abdomen then that could be your appendix or even a hernia. A hernia usually shows as a small lump in the lower abdominal area near your groin.

If the pain happens when you use the muscles in that area it could just be a muscle pull, but if the sharp pain happens for no reason you may want to have a doctor check it out.

You should really consult your physician. That pain could be any one of several different probabilities. Your diagnosis also depends on whether or not you have any other accompanying symptoms. You could have a stomach virus, gas, IBS, you could have a kidney stone or could possibly be pregnant. The best thing to do is schedule an appointment with your physician and let him/her know all your symptoms and see what they can diagnosis the problem as. Don't wait to seek treatment if you are in extreme pain. If you have other symptoms or need more information before you see the doctor check out webMD.

You palpate your stomach- intestines when your bowels are clear and stomach is empty. If it is tender and painful it must be due to constipation and/or acidity. Treat your constipation with green vegitables and salads. If you suffer from acidity treat it with milk and avoiding spicy, stimulating diet( alcohole, chilly and spices).
If you understand nothing, bring a powerful magnet and keep its' south pole on your stomach/ pain site for 20 minutes and yourself on bed. Avoid earths' contact. Always keep magnet on a thick wooden plank.
