My stomach hurts extremely bad, and I don’t know what to do about it. Every time I eat I get this crippling stomach ache, I can barely walk let alone breath. Right now I feel like I’m going to throw up, but I’m scared to. I’m already in enough pain, and although it seems like I need to, I don’t want to make it worse. I really don’t know what could be wrong with me. Does anyone know what could be cause such extreme stomach pain? What can I do to relieve it? And should I stop myself from throwing up? Please help!

Also- I don't think it's the flu.

The pain is up high, near my ribs (and yes, of course it's not my ribs that are hurting me, it's my stomach).

you've basically got 2 choices. get medical attention or consider you may be having a panic attack and hyperventilating - in which case you need to loosely hold a paper bag in front of your nose/mouth and breath in and out of it for a while. hyperventilation will lead to tingling and numbness and as a result - you panic more and get into a cycle. I've done that myself after a severe whiplash injury - panicked and hyperventilated to the point where I lost all feeling from the neck down - and it wasn't until the doctor stuck a paper bag in front of my face that I began to calm down. I still had lots of pain - but the other symptoms went away and I regained feeling. it really does depend on what sort of medical history you've got because lots of things could be causing your symptoms - but the only person who can give you a proper diagnosis and treatment is a doctor.

For goodness sakes go to the hospital. My brother had similar symptoms and has been in the hospital for a week now with an intestinal illness not like the flu, the name of the illness is so long, but it causes your intestines to swell everytime you eat. It could be a number of serious things so go to the hospital right away.

Personally vomitting solves all problems for me. Once I had such a bad head ache accompanied with a stomach ache I thought I would die, I threw up and was releived instantly.

It sounds like your gallbladder. You will continue to go through this until they take it out. I know this from my mom's experience. She had extreme pain for weeks on end after she'd eat a certain food, and then she would puke for hours. They didn't know what it was, and then they figured it out and she's all better now. My friend had very similar symptoms to you too, and it was also her gallbladder. Go to the ER. If you let it go on for too long you can actually poison your own blood and die...go now!!

Lovely, you should call a doctor and if noones there w/ you, get a neighbor or friend to come over and help you out and keep an eye on you. It might not be anything, but dont take the chance

Sounds like your gallbladder might be going bad. If you notice the pain with fatty and greasy foods then the gallbladder is your problem. Just talk to your doctor. Good luck

You might need to go to the er and get checked out. You could have appendicitis, or food poisoning. But my best advice is go to the doctor

You need to go to the ER, ASAP! Only a doctor can give you diagnosis...the net is a good place for answers but I would hate to think that you are sitting there in pain waiting for us to answer your question when there could be something seriously wrong. Go to the ER, Please.

Go to the ER, this could be a blockage or appendicitis. I wouldn't try to stop myself from throwing up if I were you.
