Could be as simple as a bladder infection. Do you need to urinate often? Is the urine discolored?

Or it could be something much more serious. Check with your doctor.

From someone who has been suffering from Ovarian Cysts all of my life, what you've said sounds exactly like it. If it radiates almost to the point where its past your hip, and it gets worse if you try walking, then thats what it is.
I'd recomend going to the ER...they can give you something for pain, and do a CAT scan to see if that's indeed what it is. If it is', it's nothing serious (unless you are also running a fever, which means that the fluid from the cyst could have been infected).
Everyone gets a cyst every month, somewhere between 1-2 weeks before their period starts...but sometimes, if it doesn't rupture when it's suppose to, it can keep building up, and when it does rupture, it causes the type of pain you might be having.
Go see your Doctor, or the ER if you have a fever.
Best of luck!!!!

Are you sure there is no way that you're pregnant? Sometimes women have a tubal pregnancy and a pregnancy test will come up negative. Tubal pregnancies are very painful - and can cause your tube to burst. Not something you want to ignore!

Also - you could have PID (Pelvic Inflammatory Disease) - this is usually an infection in the fallopian tube. It is very painful - and very often is accompanied by a fever - but not always. Again - something you don't want to ignore - as the tube could burst and cause major complications.

The best thing is for you to have this sharp pain checked out by the doc.

You could be ovulating. Many women experience a sharp pain in that region during ovulation. If it continues though, I would visit your doctor, just to be on the safe side.

Where exactly is the pain? Your stomach is actually more on the left side. If the pain continues call your doctor.

Where exactly? On the sides, where your ovaries are? It could be so many things.

Depends exactly where it is.

Could be something with the ovaries or something like a kidney stone.

Check with your doc!
