For the past few hours, my stomach has been killing me. It's the lowerish right side of my stomach, starting from right next to the bellybutton. When I press it, it hurts and when I move around, it hurts.

I don't need to go use the restroom and I don't feel like throwing up so I don't think it's indigestion. I ate a sandwich 2 hours or so before the pain started. At first the pain wasn't in any spcific area and just felt uncomfortable but now it really hurts in a more localized part of my body.

I was thinking it might possibly be appendicitis. I don't think I've ever felt this sort of pain before, just on the right side of my stomach. I took 2 Tylenols and it seems to be helping as I don't feel quite crap anymore.

I also took some Pepto Bismol around the same time I took the Tylenol... now I don't know which is helping me feel better. Was it a bad case of indigestion or what?

Nothing is absolute, but right lower quadrant abdominal pain can indicate the possibility for appendicitis.

Normally you will experience a fever as well as right sided abdominal pain.

You should see your physician for a physical examination and white blood cell count just to be sure if problems persist -- and if it IS appendicitis, the problems WILL persist.
