I'm really worried about my little sister, she is only 16 and has a lot to cope with at the moment, she is in the middle of exams and our dad is ill. She seems very depressed, I have tried to talk to her but no 16yr old wants to talk to their 24yr old sister- recently I found a stash of different painkillers in her room including my dads prescription only cediene, my mum says she is always taking paracetamol and ibruprofiene - are there any signs of this sort of addiction and what should / can i do?

At 16 years of age lot of teenagers will experiment with lota different things, but experementing with drugs is the worse.Talk with her about the seriouseness of her actions, let her know u love her, then tell her to stay the hell away from them b4 she does get hooked on something much stronger, that can be hard to get off of, as well as even kill her. No matter what it takes, get her help!.Anything is better even if u have to show some tuff love, it very well could save her life. Go with her to counseling, show her films, let her see others that can talk with her about what drugs can do..If that doesnt work lock her in her room, tie her to a chair, anything u have to do to save HER LIFE God bless...
