Most back problems are muscular in nature and the pain comes from the spasms of the muscles. Unless you have had this problem many times before and are familiar with the signs and symptoms of more serious injuries, I would suggest seeing your Dr. for a consult. Tingling into your legs or severe pain down one or both legs could indicate something more serious like a herniated disc. See your Dr. and take a few days off of work. Sometimes bed rest for a limited length of time will help - try putting a pillow under your knees when lying flat. This helps take some of the strain off the muscles and discs in your lower back. Best of luck-I can relate all too well. Once you feel better a regieme of exercises is what works for me-keeps the muscles strong and flexible. If I don't keep up the exercises, I can feel it immediately.

I cured my sciatica with this natural treatment http://cure-sciatica.info
Normally, I would not answer a question like this as my expertise is generally in medication but I had severe sciatica while I was pregnant with my 3rd child (after having had twins) and I had sciatica so bad that I was finding it difficult to walk. I tried massage therapy and physical therapy and could not take medication
I went to the chiropractor and the pain was instantly relieved. My hips and lower back were out of alignment because I had carried twins the year before. On occasion a Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) can also work but they usually only work on one joint at a time - the chiropractor will do your whole back which works faster. Anyone who does not believe in chiropractors will tell you they are quacks - don't listen.
I don't necessarily believe that chiropractors can cure things like diabetes but they can definitely relieve some types of back pain especially if a pinched nerve is involved which is usually the cause of sciatica.

I've had 2 back surgeries now at 37 just 6 weeks out of 2nd one. sitting is the worst thing for lower pain avoid it as much as you can. try heat , try cold which ever works for you. get something up against your back in the chair.I'm not sure and I know it hurts but when I hurt my back the Doctor said I had to keep moving . Your situation may be different >have you seen a Doctor? its best to sleep with a piilow under your knees, or on your side between your knees and up against your back don't bend don't lift. lots of anti inflamatory works best together with something for pain like tylenol. Don't go to work if its bad just take some time off. I didn't and two sugeries later I'm kicking myself , I'm way two young to be doing this already!!

You need medication from your Doctor to kill the pain. To help yourself to recover more quickly wear a wide belt around your waist. Fit it quite tightly for maximum support. Don't slouch on the settee but sit on a straight-backed chair (a dining chair for example). Stretch your back after you have been sitting by holding onto something high (like the top of a door) and let your legs 'drop'. Make sure the door is safe first of course! When you sit at work make sure the back of your chair 'pushes' into the small of your back. Be careful with your back in the future or the problem will recur. Hope you soon recover.

Many common natural remedies are claimed to have blood sugar lowering properties that make them useful for people with or at high risk of diabetes. Learn here https://tr.im/qpOVM

A number of clinical studies have been carried out in recent years that show potential links between herbal therapies and improved blood glucose control, which has led to an increase in people with diabetes using these more 'natural' ingredients to help manage their condition.

Sciatica pain left me nearly immobilized many times in the past decade. There is only one way I know to alleviate the pain tho it takes time, a heating pad & ibuprofen. Plan to do this near a tv or other distraction because this involves hours of lying still -- you may need to take a day or two off work. You *MUST* lie flat on your back with no pillow under your neck or head. It can be sofa/couch, bed if not to squishy or the floor. Next, stack up firm pillows or other support under your calves to imitate the position you would as if you were sitting (thighs must be perpendicular to body, calves paralell to body, not simply "propped up"). This takes the pressure & demand off your spine to support your lower body. Ibuprofen will alleviate the swelling from pressure points. Lifting your legs in that position and remaining so removes stress from the lower back. Place a heating pad under your lower back (above tailbone) where the intensity of the pain is. Keep the heating pad there at 20 minute intervals (20 min. under your back, 20 off) as long as you can (throughout the day). You must lie in this position until the swelling subsides, which may include sleeping in this position overnight. I've done this on the sofa, all day & all night, and other than getting up for bathroom breaks remained in the position. It does work but takes at least a day. Usually symptoms can be alleviated by this method after one day & one night; went to work the next day but on returning home went back to this position until night. Recommended to me by physicians, chiropractor & mother who suffered from same condition.

I had the same problem and literally couldn't bend over or pick anything up... Have a nice hot bath then get your partner to massage the effected area with massage oils. Do this for a couple of nights and it'll ease up. Worked for me but if it doesn't there's nothing wrong with getting a nice sensual massage anyway!!!

I'd suggest you go to a medical doctor today. There are drugs that can take away your pain fairly quickly. Perhaps more important, the doctor can find out exactly what is wrong and recommend futher measures--physical therapy, exercises, etc.

According to CBS News, the live active cultures in yogurt can reduce odor-causing sulfites in the mouth. Sulfites are found in foods such as meats, wine and other foods that are high in protein or fat. Another benefit of eating yogurt is that it can destroy unhealthy bacteria in the mouth and stomach, resulting in fewer incidences of bad breath. However, not all yogurt is created equal in regard to fighting bad breath. You should choose yogurt that does not have sugar added to it as the sugar can result in increased tooth decay, according to CBS News. Choosing yogurts that are labeled as low-fat or fat-free also will increase your health benefits. Yogurts fortified with vitamin D can help to reduce bacteria in the mouth as well because vitamin D creates an unfavorable environment for bacterial growth. ~ Chloe
