When I was younger my Dad-Dad (Grandfather) would often get a sore throat. He always kept some kind of cherry flavored alcoholic beverage nearby in these types of situations but I can't remember what it is! He said it burns your throat like crazy but afterwards your throat feels so much better. Has anyone ever heard of this before? And if so, what is it?!

For the past 3 weeks I've been getting constant headaches. What worries me is that before this I almost never got headaches. In the beggining I'd get them once a day, every other day or so but now it's every day up to 4 or 5 times a day.

The pain is always around my left eye, ear, jaw, sinus - basically the left side of my head. It feels like a large amount of pressure is being applied. They start at any time for any given reason. It can be a sound (even a light one), light that's slightly bright, even the wind coming in a car window when the car is going fast.

Please help. Is my guess of this being tension headaches correct? Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome.

PS: haven't gone to the doc because I knock off work late and either forget or get too busy during weekends.

For the past few months my wrist has been hurting pretty badly on and off. It hurts all the way around my wrist, plus the back of my hand and about halfway up my forearm on the same side of my arm. It's a sharp, kind of weird pain. Kind of like when your back wants to crack or whatever.

I worked in a grocery store as a cashier, and we had to punch everything in manually (The prices and credit card numbers and everything). So I was thinking that might have something to do with it since it's only the wrist I used at work.

Anyway, it hurts really bad, does anyone know what might be wrong with it, or what I could do to fix it?

I have an earache and can't afford to go to the hospital when I know what is wrong. I was just wondering if anyone knew of a simple remedy that I could do at home to give me some relief. Please, if you have any information let me know. Thanks.

I've suffered from a great deal of intermittent pain for over a year now. The strange thing is, it is only the left side of my body. Everything from the left side of my neck down to my left ankle is frequently very painful (an easy 7 on the pain scale) and tingles. I also get massive muscle spasms, but again, only on the left side of the body. Today I actually had to remove my bangle bracets as they bothered me so badly. What could possibly cause just one side of the body to act up this way? My doctor seems to be at a loss and I'd very much like to at least suggest something else to test for and perhaps treat.

I have had pain in my stomach for about... a month or more. I dont get along well with my family, and I hate the doctors so I havent told anyone, figureing it will just go away soon. But it hasnt! Its getting worst. I told my mom and she said it may be an ulcer. You know when you dont eat for a really loooooong time, and your stomach starts to feel like its eating itself, because of the acids? Mine always feels like this. When I drink or eat, it feels better, but then hurts after. It hurts all day long, until I eat. I am not fond of meds so I havent taken anti-acid pills of anything. I constantly feel like vomitting, but never do. The pain is almost like a burning. Im not burping or anything, its just really painful and uncomfortable. Any advice on what it may be???

I've experienced kidney stones twice before, so I think I can handle this one without going to the ER. Also, I've looked around online, but get very different answers (plus thay all want your money before they'll tell you). I'm in pain, and don't want to use drug if I can help it. Thanks!
