I have had pain in my stomach for about... a month or more. I dont get along well with my family, and I hate the doctors so I havent told anyone, figureing it will just go away soon. But it hasnt! Its getting worst. I told my mom and she said it may be an ulcer. You know when you dont eat for a really loooooong time, and your stomach starts to feel like its eating itself, because of the acids? Mine always feels like this. When I drink or eat, it feels better, but then hurts after. It hurts all day long, until I eat. I am not fond of meds so I havent taken anti-acid pills of anything. I constantly feel like vomitting, but never do. The pain is almost like a burning. Im not burping or anything, its just really painful and uncomfortable. Any advice on what it may be???

I had a similar experience - I went to the doctor and was diagnosed with gastritis - you REALLY should go to the doctor - it could be gastrits, a bleeding ulcer or gall stones - which requires surgery. Quit Being Stubborn Knot Head!

its pure Acidity and i too hate eating food and give long intervals between my meals. so I too suffered from the exact problem and the duration much longer than you and no medicine was of no use. but then i was prescribed OMPERZOLE and RANTIDINE.(one of them is a Tab and the other a Capsule) they should be taken half-an-hour before food. and dear trust me it started its effect just within few minutes and it was cured completely. it never returned back. Even now my food habits are the same as earlier and still no burn or no pain. (and dear me Medicines are not that ugly tasting. ok) . no need to go for a Doctor you can get them from any Chemist stores. so go for it.

Hey there it sounds similar to a gallstone attack to me. eating fatty food's increases your chances of gallstones big time. when i had a gallstone attack i would get horrific pains in my stomach and my chest would be like it's burning and it would go straight through into my back , aslo i go shoulder blade pain , and it was always worse after a meal. do you get any of these symtoms?

your eating spicy or high fat foods! try eliminating them and see what happens... if it don't work cut wheat...it's something your eating. get on a high protein diet that will drop some belly fat.. and will help if you might have any serious medical problems.
