Here are some different possibilities, but they will only give you temporary relief. If you have peroxide in the house you can put some in your ear and then put cotton in your ear. If you have sweet oil u can warm it on a spoon and put some in your ear and put cotton in your ear. Heat also helps like a heating pad or you can try taking a couple of pain relievers. I hope some of these ideas help, I have used them on myself and my children but, that is only temporary to help relieve the pain until you go to the doctor. Letting an earache go could cause you to bust a hole in your eardrum.

Be careful... I'd see a health professional about this as soon as possible; it's probably no big deal, I would wait until tomorrow and call your primary care physician. However, I was in clinic last week and there was a cockroach on my patient's tympanic membrane (eardrum) and she only knew that her ear hurt (I'm completely serious). Not to scare you, but no matter what you do, your ear can be pretty sensitive and it's possible to do more harm than good.

you can try using some hydrogen peroxide squirt it into your ear, that will help get some infection out, plus take some type of pain reliever, probably acetometaphen would work if you have a fever with it that would help out, thats about all the info i can help with. i know the hydrogen peroxide sounds funny but we did it in the army for some of our patients your ear might also have wax come out when doing this. im not a doctor , but a medic. so take advice as you may at your own risk.

you can keep it warm, like with a hot water bottle or a heating pad. that encourages the fluid to release. also take ananti-inflammatory pain reliever, like ibuprofen. sleep with your head elevated and try not to lay on the side that hurts. most ear infections don't really need medicine or antibiotics, people have gotten them all throughout history and been fine so don't worry, i read that about 80% of them just clear up on their own.

I HEARD IF YOU TAKE A BLOW DRYER, AND LET IT BLOW INTO YOUR EAR, IT SHOULD STOP HURTING. MAYBE YOU HAVE A LOT OF WAX IN IT, AND YOU CAN BUY A EAR WAXING KIT, AT YOUR LOCAL PHARMACY. YOU CAN BUY SOME EAR DROPS AT YOU LOCAL PHARMACY, AND THEN PUT A COTTON BALL IN IT. GOOD LUCK, I KNOW HOW AN EARACHE FEELS LIKE, AND IT HURTS.
