i drink a lot of water, i am not stressed out in any way. my back is just fine, its not out of alignment. i went to the doctor today and she said she isnot sure why they happen. she said keep a headache diary and come back in two weeks after she asked a kazillion questions that lead nowhere. i really want them to go away...i don't like to have to stay in bed all day with horrible headaches. there seems to be no reason...but there has to be.PLEASE HELP!!!

at 8pm tonight(uk time) my partner started to experience pains in his stomach, the left side of his belly button,as the night wore on his pain worsened, going from his left side, and shooting across his stomach, round to his back,at 9:30pm he was rolling round the floor in agony, crying, the pain was really bad.i've been with him for 10yrs and never seen him like that.also for the last few weeks he has been getting chest pains, and feeling light headed but has been to scared to go to the doctors, because his father and uncle passed away before the age of 40 due to heart attacks.(he's 32)i rang 999 and the ambulance has taken him to hospital.i'm really worried,i've checked on the internet for symptoms of appendicitis but the pains start on the right side, not the left like my partners.i'm left at home worried sick,as my 4 children are asleep, and i have no-one to babysit them.

My back has been sore and uncomfortable on and off for a few years now. I had an xray 3 years ago but nothing showed up. I was offered physio but chose not to go to it as i was too busy. I have to get whoevers with me to hug me and squeeze my back hard so it makes clicking noises like knuckles so i can feel comfortable again when it goes weird. Does anyone know why this is?

I'm a 17 year old female, and a senior at my school. During the summer, I developed minor pains underneathe my brest, on the left side of my chest. Since they were infrequent, and not too painful, I ignored it. Now it's getting more frequent and the pain is getting stronger. I try to tell my mom about these things but she always thinks I'm fine and that there's nothing wrong with me. I think it's pretty idiotic to think that nothing can be wrong with me medically, but apparently she thinks I have super abilities. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knows what the pain could be, I appreciate any help.

My right arm hurts so much! I woke up today and it hurt so bad! I didn't get injured, so thats not why. I just got a flu shot about a week ago, and I had a PPD test in my other arm yesterday. So people, why does it hurt?

I suffer from TMJ as well as very spastic upper back and neck muscles. I have taken codeine, Tylenol, ibuprofen … nothing helps. I have been prescribed other anti-inflammatory drugs and amitriptyline … those didn’t help either. I often get migraines which I manage to control with Imitrix. Also, I have tension headaches almost daily. I’m not exaggerating. This chronic pain is beginning to ruin my life. I’ve been dealing with daily headaches for practically two years now. The only thing that makes a significant difference is getting a deep tissue massage to my upper back, neck and face. When my muscles relax, my headaches go away and don’t return for a long time. Obviously I can’t get a massage everyday. So, maybe muscle relaxants would work. Is there anything “safe” for daily use? I’ve never tried any prescription muscle relaxants before, but I think this may work. My doctor always seemed to stay away from prescribing muscle relaxants for some reason.

My husband is due to have a Cervical Facet Joint Injection procedure and I was hoping to gain a bit of knowledge prior to his procedure. Does it work, any comments, any complaints and such. I know what it is, but don't have any personal comments about it.

I am about to have a major surgery and I have a severe allergy to all opiate related drugs. Are there any other types of pain medications that I can take, that would actually relieve the pain after surgery?

I was helping someone dump a load on a fork lift and was on the forks. Driver went a little crazy and I scrambled for somewhere to hold on and ended up with foot caught in hydraulics and it severd toe and bone and pretty much pulled it off. Dr. hospitalized me and surgery was needed and pins are holdig it together and am off work for about 3 months now. Aside from workmans comp, am I elligable for a settlement? workmans comp is only sugesting 2/3rd`s of average pay which won`t be much. Can I get a lump sum of money for this?

According to the x-ray of my back and neck, my spine is out of whack. Particularly my neck (spine) is not curving the proper way. My chiropractor suggested traction (harness?) therapy. I am curious to see how others view this type of treatment, and if it truly works.

Had tennis elbow a couple of years ago. Bought the strap thing for my forearm and it went away. This is different. Slight throbbing pain in upper bicep to neck and in my wrist. Nothing in between. Thought about carpel tunnel. I use alot of air tools for my job, but for the past couple of weeks I've been using the other arm.
