The pain is in an areaon the left side of my body (about 6 inches to the left of my belly button in a direct line, just below the rib cage). It feels like muscle pain as opposed to anything internal or bone related but I really think it moved from where it was yesterday. It was more to the side then but seems to have moved a a little since. The pain is not intense but is permanent (nearly like the feeling of bruising) it feels like someone has kicked me really hard in that area. I have askled the wife and she assures me that she didn't do this whilst I was asleep!!
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

I am a 20 year old female, 5'4'', 128 pounds... Just a general description. Ok well here is my question and if anyone has any ideas or opinions please be sure to share it with me:
I have been having alot of pains on my left upper side (my heart are and around to the back sortve) especially every time I breath in really deep. And my whole left arm just feels sore, not shooting pains or anything it just feels sore as well as my shoulder. Anyone have any ideas on what it could be? I dont want to go to the E.R just because of it especially if it is most likely not a big deal.
And one more problem, I have a lump underneith my right arm, its a lump on my arm pit and it hurts not really bad but I notice it alot especially when I hold my arm really close to my side..

I am going from shoe store to store and buying various types of walking shoes, and wear them once or twice and then they are n o good. I could open a shoe store, and am tearing the hair out of my head because I have no shoes.

Help! I think a small fishbone about half a inch is lodged in my throat. I've tried washing it down with food and vinegar but it just won't work!! I still sometimes feel like something sharp is lodged in my throat. But most of the time, it doesn't feel like there's anything in my throat. What should I do?!

How are you now and how did it go.? I have had 2 shots of cortisone in my elbow over the last year and my elbow looks like it is withering away and it hurts when i use my arm for anything.

I've been afflicted since Sunday (today is Friday) with a back ache. I've never experienced it before (guess my age is catching me). They do run in my family, if such a thing is possible, and so I know from my symptoms that it really is a back ache and nothing else.

How long can a back ache last? What's a typical range for you?

WebMD had scant info, so I'm hoping for help from the online back ache sufferring community! Thanks.

I lie. I lie constantly. I lie to myself. I lie to my family. I lie to the one most incredible person in my life...my girlfriend whom I hope to spend the rest of my time on earth with. I have a wonderful mom and dad that have taken exceptional care of me. I have plenty of friends. I surround myself with all of these people, yet I still feel alone. In my eyes I will never deserve the respect and love of the people I care about. They have no idea that I feel this way, either. When I am sick and perhaps need medical attention I do not inform these people because I believe they are better off not worrying about my welfare. I truly love the people I call friends and family. I would gladly step in front of a bullet for any one of them. However, I would not let them do the same for me. They think they know who I am, and I let them go on thinking it. They are clueless of my true thoughts and feelings. All I want out of life is to feel happy and make the ones around me proud. Why do I do this?

since my accident my neck sholder and back is hurting and some times my eyes for no reason gets cloudy black out and most often lose my balance.most times when i wake up with pain and can not focus . my eyes moves up down side to side and in circular motion.

Who at pharmaceutical companies comes up with the names for drugs? Why was Soma Compound named such? Did the namer of this drug know that muscle relaxants are something people use to get high off of and make a bad joke of it, or is this coincidence made of the nickname for a chemical compound? In brave new world soma is the drug dispensed to the masses to relieve the stress of living an entirely mind controlled utopian existence.
