Take a clean washcloth and dampen it, put it in the microwave around 1 minute. Make sure it isn't too hot, put it over the bridge of your nose and lay down and relax. It does it for me when I have a cold. Sinus infections need to be investigated, usually it is a combination of external and internal problems. For example, do you live in a place with pollution? Get an air purifier. Do you have a problem with candidia? If so, get yourself on probiotics and watch what you eat.

There is a big difference between blocked sinuses & a sinus infection. If you have a true sinus infection, then you really should go to the Dr. & get antibiotics. For just plain old stuffy sinuses, you need to take something like Dayquill which works very well for most folks. Of course, at nighttime you can take Nyquill. It usually works very well also to let you breathe & sleep at the same time. Saline sprays help a lot too. A lot of people have allergies that cause stuffy noses so in that case the Dr. is indicated also to try & keep the allergies under controll.

Drink Alka Seltzer. I used it for one day and my sinus infection went away the same day. This is truley the miracle medicine!! Hope it works. Get the orange zest kind, it tastes like orange crush. Also make sure it says cold formula on the box. Hope you feel better.
