just go to the chriopractor, i had the same problem and i went and now im pretty good

first of all......really doesnt sound like a kidney stone.....sounds more like a muscle issue. the advice about ice/heat is good. massage can also be beneficial. stretching is good. if you have no contraindications to it you could take an antiinflammatory like ibuprofen to help with the pain. a physiotherapist can show you some exercises to help ease out the knot and keep it from coming back.

Sounds like a side stitch...a muscle pull.
Put ice on it for 20 min. then try heat.
You can fill an empty drink bottle fill it up with water and freeze, or add hot water and put on the pain.
For pain in the back, situps every other day really helps

YOU MAY HAVE KIDNEY STONES-SEE THE DOCTOR
but it may also be a pulled muscle-think back-what have you been doing lately?
