I have a tender pain on my scalp, like a bruise from bumping my head. I have not bumped my head at all recently though. The pain came on for no reason yesterday and still hurts. I have also been getting quick shooting pains behind my right ear off and on. Any ideas on a cause??

My back is fine, as long as I don’t subject it to sudden overloads. Do you know of any chronic back sufferers who have no problems living a rugged, physically active life – or who do physically demanding jobs, or even participate in professional sports? Thanks.

I have been put on a waiting list for knee replacements. It is a major operation and is it going to benefit me? Will I be able to do all the things I find difficult now, like walking long distances? I would appreciate other people's experiences.

About twice a week I wake up out of a dead sleep with a horribly painful cramp in my right calf. It only happens in my right calf and a few weeks ago the pain lasted for 2 days and I was limping on it. Have you ever gotten these and is there anything I can do to stop them?

I have had neck pain for over one week now. It started as a stiff neck and now is just a constant pain when I turn my head. It hurts even when I don't turn my head. What makes it worse is using the computer and using the phone. Unfortunately, my job requires I use both. Ibuprofen and rubs don't provide much relief. What can I do? This is unbearable.

I was told by a woman the other day that I should get some tablets called Witches Claws from the health shop.Because I am experiencing stiffness in my left thumb and am unable to grip properly without severe pain. I have osteoarthritis and am on medication, but this is doing nothing with regard to my hand.Anyone out there taken these tablets and had any satisfactory results?

I had a grade 2-3 sprain earlier this year, the ankle really achess still after activity and in the middle of the night. My doc hasn't ordered any tests and doesn't seem to take me seriously since my physio is over with. I feel like it's a joint pain but the doc says I'm too young for arthritis and stuff. What should I do to lessen the pain?

Yesterday at my soccer game I was hit in the face with a soccer ball, well as soon as I got hit I was very dizzy. Then for the rest of the first half everything I saw from my right eye was really blurry. I would close my left eye and it would be blurry, close my right eye and everything would be fine. Well it went away after about an hour. Now(the day after) it is still annoying me. This morning it felt like someone was sticking me in the eye with their finger. The pain went away during the day but the pain would come back every now and then. I noticed it ecspecially hurts when I go to someplace where the light is different(brighter or darker). So I'm wondering what could be wrong with my eye? I would go to the doctor but I dont want to if it's going to go away on its own.
